HSBC's Women's Executive Group will be hosting a Speed Mentoring event.
This event will take place on International Women's Day, Thursday, March 8th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m here at 452 Fifth Avenue in New York City. There will be approximately 45 minutes of speed mentoring followed by a reception with the students and executive mentors.
HSBC will be inviting 15 women from Barnard to join in this celebration at the Bank. Mentors will be senior executives from HSBC. The students will be asked to prepare questions about working in the world of banking, requests for advice on the best way to achieve their own career aspirations and questions about the mentors’ experience. There will be no job offers nor promoting HSBC’s employment opportunities. It is purely to give young women a chance to speak for 10 minute intervals to a senior level women here at HSBC.
